I have been LOOKING for this post for SO LONG cause I wanted to watch Wish Upon a Star again! :D But I only have internet when I’m at Starbucks and I don’t really want to watch a movie here, so I’m attempting to load all 9 parts in different tabs so I can watch it when I get home. I don’t understand the hate for the music of this generation.  

There is a lot of it out there.

Didn’t we know this was going to happen eventually? I mean look at your parents, at your grandparents, how often do they bitch about your music? How often do they say that their generation was better? (I know there are exceptions, my dad was one of them…but even he had his limits)

Our generation has passed people. Insulting, bashing, and threatening a bunch of teenagers and other men and women in the music business isn’t going to bring it back. This is the music of this generation, and in a few years some other music will crop up and all the Justin, One Direction, ect fans are going to be in the same boat as us.

It kind of makes me sad actually. I’ve been raised to like musics from all genres and time periods. Yeah I miss the boy bands from the 90s (the era I grew up in)  but I know they’re not coming back and I’m not calling people names because I can’t get over it. Just knowing that some of the people sending death threats and insults that can really damage the psyche of a young person, are adults themselves makes me sick. How can you live with yourself?

Music is life, I am an avid believer in that. And it doesn’t matter who sings it, all that matters is that somewhere out there that song means something to someone. Greenday or whatever may have pulled you out of a dark place, who are you to stop One Direction or Justin Bieber from doing the same for some other kid?
