I want to be excited about the reunion coming up, but I’m usually an after thought at these things. Like what room can we cram Sam into. I don’t know if being at a beach, surrounded by people (which is horrifying enough thanks to my anxiety) is worth sleeping on the floor and having to probably move from one room to another. Even if I really really need this getaway. I just want to get out of my house for a little bit, forget about the fact that my mom hasn’t walked in 6 months, and that we have no money coming in at all. I just want a break, but I feel like this is going to be a miserable experience.
Today, Amazon announced the imminent launch of its newest endeavor, Kindle Worlds, a publishing platform for fanfiction. When I read the announcement, I was horrified, then angry, then sad. I want to take a moment to explain why this is such a tragedy.
